Hey there, naturalistas! If you've been on the internet lately, you've probably seen rice water all over your feed. Everyone from your favorite YouTube gurus to your auntie seems to be singing its praises. But what is rice water, and why is everyone so obsessed with it? Let's break it down.

Rice water is, quite simply, water that has been used to cook rice.  The water that is leftover is chock full of vitamins and minerals that are essential for healthy hair growth. These nutrients include but are not limited to: inositol, an essential carb that helps with cell regeneration; vitamin B6, which helps with hormonally-induced hair loss; and albumin, a protein that strengthens the hair shaft. rich in vitamins and minerals like amino acids, beta-carotene, and calcium, which makes it an excellent choice for a pre-poo or deep conditioner.
